Arriving on Autobahn A1 Dortmund-Bremen:
Change from Autobahn A1 at exit Ahlhorner Heide to Autobahn A29 in direction of Wilhelmshaven/Emden/Leer. At Oldenburg, change to Autobahn A28 in direction Emden/Leer (all exits are signposted). Leave the A28 at exit no. 9 ‘NEUENKRUGE’ or exit no. 8 ‘ZWISCHENAHENR MEER’. This route will lead directly to Bad Zwischenahn.
Arriving on Autobahn A31 – direction Leer:
Leave Autobahn A31 at interchange ‘Leer’ to continue on A28 in direction ‘Oldenburg’. Exit at no. 8 ‘Zwischenahner Meer’ and follow the route to Bad Zwischenahn.
Bad Zwischenahn has an Intercity Railway-Station. Ignore the traffic jam and enjoy your arrival by railway. All information is held on website ‘www.bahn.de’. Since December 2010, Bad Zwischenahn is connected to the regional train net of Lower-Saxony Bremen (Region-S-Bahn Niedersachsen Bremen). Also, all trains are barrier-free. However, the platform at Bad Zwischenahn hasn’t yet been adjusted in same manner. Therefore, a notification for disabled persons prior to arrival is required at (+49) 1805-692246 or via the internet at ‘www.regio-s-bahn.de’. A timetable is also available on the websites of the Regio-S-Bahn.
