Sauna landscape, Wellenbad (wave pool) and Wellnessdorf (wellness village) - Bad Zwischenahn has a perfect triad of relaxation with "Wellness am Meer" (Wellness by the Sea). The modern, light-flooded wave pool attracts with one meter high waves and relaxing whirlpools. The adjoining brine outdoor pool has 120 square meters and 34 degrees warm water with North Sea quality.

But the spacious sauna area with Roman steam sauna, sauna garden and Finnish sauna also makes the hearts of wellness guests beat faster. In the log cabin sauna, with a wide view of the Zwischenahner Sea, you can enjoy excellent saunas and relax. Perfectly staged, surprising infusions make the visit an experience.

The absolute highlight is the wellness village. It attracts with private spas, massages, hammam, rasul and beauty treatments. It consists of four interconnected large wooden houses, in which there are various feel-good rooms.

The waves are as high as one meter and promise an ocean feeling. Relaxation may be found at any weather in the well-tempered water of the outdoor brine bath. Wave-pool Keen on waves? The sun-drenched wave-pool is waiting for you. Here you draw your lanes or enjoy the meter-high surging billows. Various rest areas inside, and on warmer days also outside, offer spheres for retirement.

Our ‘Café am Rosengarten’ has a wide range of gastronomical offers, also inside the wave-pool area. The brine bath awaits with pure wellness. The water is heated to 34 degrees Celsius, and North Sea water quality.

You will soon feel the relaxation, but also your soul will come to a rest. The whole body will be warmed up during the bath. Muscles and peripheral joints will be relieved by the uplift of the warm seawater – resulting in relaxation. Let yourself flow and rest on various massage couches in the water, also being able of enjoying nature. This is a special experience at colder weather.

Classic face treatments, massages, manicures and pedicures are also on the program, as well as therapies from different countries.

Try for instance the care treatment Rasul-bath, an oriental bath- and beauty ceremony.

You may also be peeled and washed on a warm soap-stone, followed by a relaxed chill-out in the original Turkish steam-bath. The approved wellness-offers have been extended by a medical-wellness area.

The attractive sauna area holds invites to a steam-sauna, two Finnish saunas (90 and 95 degrees Celsius) and a blockhouse sauna (85 degrees Celsius) with a wonderful view onto Lake Bad Zwischenahn. Relaxation at its best is offered in the spacious sauna garden in the midst of nature during nice weather.

Alternatively, a light-drenched chill-out room with a gorgeous outlook is at hand. Regular theme brews, small treats and beauty specials are presented in the sauna. The brew-schedules are published in the quarterly flyers. Brew-schedule January to March For cooling-down, various sparkling- and cold-water basins are available.
